PSAT/NMSQT
Test Prep Classes

This is a virtual PSAT/NMSQT test preparation program for Grade 11 students who attend a District 214 high school. The program will provide online remote test preparation in all three tests of the PSAT (Reading, Mathematics, and Writing and Language).

SAT Test Prep Classes

For 2023, District 214 be offering a SAT Test Prep Program after school or on Saturday at all 6 high school for any junior who attends a District 214 high school. Teaching staff will provide online remote or in school test preparation in all three tests of the SAT (Reading, Mathematics, and Writing and Language).

Seal of Biliteracy Assessment

District 214 students have the opportunity to earn the Seal of Biliteracy, the State of Illinois’s recognition for proficiency in English and one or more additional languages.


In order to take the additional language assessment the student must first meet one of the following English criteria:
• Earn a minimum score of 480 on the Evidence Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) of the SAT.
• Earn a minimum composite score of 21 on the ACT
• Reach the ACT college readiness benchmark of 18 for the English subject area test.
• Earn a minimum overall composite score of 4.8 on the ACCESS for ELLs exam.
• Earn a 5 on the AP English Language and Composition exam.
• Receive an A or B in an English Dual Credit Course.

District 214 Junior and Seniors students who have met the English criteria can register to take either the Avant Stamp 4S or AAPPL. Both assessments have sections in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.

The Avant Stamp 4S is offered to students testing in Polish or Hebrew only. The AAPPL Form B is offered in Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Thai.
