Citizenship Preparation Classes

Fall Adult Education Registration is Closed

Please check back in December for spring registration.

Classes start again in January, February and March.

If you are a legal permanent resident and meet eligibility requirements, we can help you prepare to become an American citizen. We offer free classes to prepare you for the naturalization interview.

U.S. Citizenship Test Preparation

NEW! Online Citizenship Class: Tuesday and Thursday, 6 pm - 9 pm.

Location: Forest View Educational Center

Classes:

Monday and Wednesday, 6 pm - 9 pm. *

Tuesday and Thursday, 9 am - Noon*.

Tuesday and Thursday, 6 pm - 9 pm. Instructor speaks English

Tuesday and Thursday, 6 pm - 9 pm. Instructor speaks English and Polish

Saturday, 9 am - 2 pm. Instructor speaks English and Spanish

Saturday, 9 am - 2 pm. Instructor speaks English and Polish

Saturday, 9 am - 2 pm. Instructor speaks English, Russian and Ukrainian.

Location: Schaumburg Township District Library, Adult Classroom, 130 South Roselle Road, Schaumburg

Classes: Monday and Thursday, 5:45 pm - 8:45 pm.

Location: Hoffman Estates Branch Library, 1550 Hassell Road, Hoffman Estates

Classes: Saturday, 9:30 am - 2:30 pm.

Citizenship Application Assistance

We can help you fill out citizenship applications (N-400 & N-600) and offer practice interviews. We provide assistance in person, by appointment only.  We do not provide assistance over the telephone or by email. To schedule an appointment, please call Ewa Crowe at 847-718-7730.
