Sign language is truly the international language and one of the fastest growing areas of language study.
In fact, babies can learn sign language even before they can speak! We offer several levels of sign language geared toward your personal skill level.
After English, Spanish is the most common language in the United States – and a useful language for everyone to learn. We offer multiple sections of Spanish classes from beginner to advanced conversational Spanish. We suggest you self-assess your ability and join the class that best fits your experience level.
In addition to sign language and Spanish, District 214 Community Education offers instruction in a number of other European languages. Join instructor Erikita Icka for one of several Italian classes, or maybe try out Polish or French. All our language teachers are native speakers or longtime second-language speakers and accept students of all levels.
