HandsOn Suburban Chicago
Experience the feel-good feeling that comes from being of service to others. Your neighbors need you. Hundreds of meaningful volunteer opportunities are available in your area including helping out in a local school, library, food pantry, hospital, blood donor center, nursing home, resale shop or senior center. Or you might prefer to spend some time visiting or delivering meals to shut-ins, performing clerical duties, working with animals, conservation groups, or sharing your woodworking, computer or craft skills with others.
Meaningful assignments are available for all ages including seniors, special groups and families. No special skills are necessary; training is provided, and the rewards are priceless. For further information on how you can be involved, call HandsOn Suburban Chicago at (847) 228-1320. They will conduct a personal assessment plan to help potential volunteers find an appropriate interest area. Visit www.handsonsuburbanchicago.org for more information.
