This class is a bridge class, formerly known as S.T.E.P forward to Success.

The College and Career Ready 101 and 102 classes enable participants to enhance their employability skills in reading, writing, and math needed to be “College Ready” for transition into High Demand Jobs and certificate programs at Harper College in careers including: Graphic Design, Manufacturing Technology, Logistics, Health Care, Medical Office Administration, HVAC, Electronics, Certified Nursing Assistant, Human Services, Community Health Worker & more!

We teach on-the-job valued work skills such as: Critical Thinking, Information Technology Applications, Career Management, Resume Development, Teamwork and Exploring Career Pathways.

Fall 2018 Registration is in-person only on the dates below.

At registration students should arrive at either 9 a.m. or 6:30 p.m. and stay for three hours for testing. Students who arrive late will need to come back on another registration day. 

Register on the first day to guarantee a place in class.

  • Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. or 6:30 p.m.  Room A228
  • Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. or 6:30 p.m.  Room A235

Students can register for only one of the two classes listed below.

Class information

  • The morning class runs from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Room A228.
  • The evening class runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Room A235.
