The American Bison, an iconic animal which proudly roamed the Great Plains was once nearly driven into extinction. Today, you don't have to travel to South Dakota to see this fascinating creature! At the Broken Wagon Bison Ranch, near Hobart, Indiana you’ll board a "Bison Tour Wagon" to tour this beautiful 35 acre buffalo farm. While enjoying expert narration from your guide, you will travel up closely and safely to the herd of about 70 buffalo to enjoy your own personal encounter with North America's largest native land mammal. While at the ranch, see a film on the history of the bison and learn incredible facts about the revered animal and the story of how the ranch came into existence.
At the Industrial Revolution Eatery & Grille in nearby Valparaiso, enjoy a delicious classic lunch while dining in a unique atmosphere that pays tribute to the American spirit of Innovation and Greatness. En route home enjoy some sweet treats as we stop at the Albanese Candy Factory, home to the "World's Best Gummies"! See the factory floor as their candies are made before your eyes!

Rates include free parking at Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S Goebbert Rd, Arlington Hts on day of tour; transportation on restroom-equipped motorcoach; sightseeing, admissions, meals as described; City guide on all Chicago itineraries, guide/driver gratuities, CET Host and CET Rewards. Gold Card discounts and earned CET Rewards cannot be applied to day trips. All cancellations will be charged a $10 administration fee.
